I wanted to post an update on this situation.
Here is what I know, and I'm pretty excited about this and hope you will be as well:
NC Japan has said that they want to offer an opportunity for Japanese-speaking players to move to the Japanese servers.
This will be a one-time move. I am putting that in bold print so that players know it's not a matter of moving back and forth,
and so that players know that the opportunity is a limited one. The date (or the period of time) has not yet been determined.
But players wishing to participate in Guild Wars on the Japanese servers will be accommodated!
We will be sure to pass along the news of the date or dates that this can happen, and you can make a server change during that period of time.
